Dimension and Tolerance
Part of a machine designer's task is to specify the parts and component necessary fora machine to perform its desired function.
Early in the design process ,it's usually sufficient to work with nominal dimension to determine function ,stress ,deflection,and the like.
However ,eventually it is necessary to get to the point of specificity that every component can be reach and every part can be manufactured.
For a part to be manufactured , its essential shape ,dimensions ,and tolerance must be communicated to the manufacturer.
That's usually done by means of a machine drawing ,which may either be multiview drawing on paper or digital data from a CAD files.
Either way ,the drawing usually represents a legal document like a code between the parties invovled in the design and manufacture of the part.
It is essential that the part be defined precisely and completely so that it can only be interpreted in one way.
The designer's intent must be conveyed in such a way that any manufacturer can make the part or component to satisfication to any inspector.
Terms ,Nominal size ,Limits ,Tolerance ,Bilateral tolerance ,unilateral tolerance ,clearance ,interference ,allowance ,fit ,GD&T.

我因为没有英文教育，说能到这样，纯写，写不到这个程度，阿拉自己揭露老底了，哈哈， 看的什么书？
我现在看的是dimensional variation management handbook和design dimensioning and tolerancing. 一看就是你自己写的。
英语不行，还得练。 听力的话，了解一下逆向听写法，要点是零错误，耳朵熟悉了，就跟听本地方言一个道理。
行文书写，建议还是对比汉译的规范或者产品说明书，安装手册等，因为涉及到法律法规，责任承担的问题，一般用词都非常严谨，小心。
我比较烦正式文件中出现口语，英语也就罢了，汉语的东西中出现“板子”，柱子“，”“螺丝”，“螺帽”，“管子”，“角铁”，实在是很倒胃口。 语言主要是刺激大脑皮层的时间问题，刺激时间长，才有反应，单靠聪明才智没啥用的，
